Northeast Alabama

Bicycle Association

Come Ride With Us!!

Founded in 1992, NEABA is a non-profit organization created to promote cycling in the Northeast Alabama area.   NEABA welcomes all types of biking enthusiasts.  Whether your passion is flowing down sweet singletrack, gliding down the road on skinny tires, or just cruising down a greenway trail, NEABA is for you!!!   To support the local mountain bike community, we are an official chapter of the International Mountain Bike Associate (IMBA).  We also use IMBA resources for membership management.  Therefore, regardless of your cycling style, when you join, it'll be through IMBA's web interface.

NEABA proudly presents and supports great events and cycling venues to include the Cheaha Challenge Gran Fond & ULTRA, Coldwater Mountain Fat Tire Festival, Noble Street Festival and Sunny King Criterium, Chief Ladiga Trail and the IMBA Silver Ride Center, Coldwater Mountain Bike Trail.

OUR MISSION:

We  exist to promote the healthy benefits of ALL types of cycling by planning and sponsoring quality cycling-related events and by encouraging both recreational cycling and cycling as a viable means of transportation.
